Twin Rocks is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Port Hardy, British Columbia, rising through depths of roughly 10 to 120 feet. The structure holds resident rockfish year-round, including quillback, canary, and copper, alongside lingcod that peak from May through August. Pacific halibut work the deeper edges from March into August, while Chinook salmon run May through August and coho follow from June into September. Anglers target lingcod by jigging metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs with soft plastics over the rock, and drift fishing with whole herring, salmon bellies, or octopus covers the deeper contours for halibut. Chinook and coho respond to trolling spoons, herring, and hootchies through the surrounding water column, with the pinnacle's rock relief concentrating both bottom fish and passing salmon.
