STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Dorothy Rock is an outer-exposed pinnacle off Sayward, British Columbia, rising from a rocky bottom across a depth range of roughly 40 to 180 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon through their May–August peak and Coho Salmon from June into October, with trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons over the pinnacle the dominant approach for both. Lingcod concentrate on the rock and peak February–April plus August and September, where jigging metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs works the vertical relief. Pacific Halibut move through from April to August and respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastic swimbaits along the deeper margins. The exposed pinnacle also carries Canary and Copper Rockfish tight to the structure.
