Eden Point is an outer-exposed rock drop-off off Sayward, British Columbia, where the bottom falls through 260 to 660 feet along the shelf edge. The steep structure draws Chinook Salmon through their May to August peak and Coho Salmon from June into October, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, spoons, and hootchies over the break. Lingcod hold tight to the rock and respond to metal jigs and swimbaits, with the strongest fishing running February through April and again in late summer. Pacific Halibut work the deeper edges from April to August, targeted with drift jigging using leadhead jigs, metal jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits. Canary Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Sablefish round out the catch across the deeper contours of the drop.
