Point No Point is an outer-exposed rock corridor off Sooke, British Columbia, where water depth ranges from 30 to 120 feet over hard structure. The site holds Pacific Halibut, which peaks March through August, alongside aggregate Rockfish and both Chinook and Coho Salmon, with Chinook peaking June through August and Coho running June into October. Anglers working the deeper end of the corridor target Halibut by drifting salmon bellies, herring, or octopus across the rock bottom, while jigging metal and leadhead jigs takes both Halibut and Rockfish over the same terrain. Chinook and Coho respond to trolling anchovies, herring, trolling spoons, and hootchies along the corridor, and mooching cut-plug herring works the tide lines for both salmon species. The rock exposure and current-driven corridor concentrate bait and hold fish across a wide depth band.
