STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Eby Rock is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Tofino, British Columbia, rising through 35 to 45 feet of water where current sweeps across broken structure. Chinook Salmon hold here from May through August and Coho Salmon from June into October, with both reliably taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons over the top of the pinnacle. The rock itself holds Lingcod from May through August and Black Rockfish from May into September, worked with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits dropped tight to the structure. Pacific Halibut move through the surrounding bottom from March into June, targeted by drift jigging leadhead jigs with soft plastics or metal jigs along the base. Quillback Rockfish and Cabezon round out the resident species on the same rocky terrain.
