Moser Point is an outer-exposed rock drop-off off Tofino, British Columbia, where the bottom falls through depths of 260 to 660 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon and Lingcod through their May to August peaks, with Coho Salmon building from June into October and Pacific Halibut concentrated from March to June. Anglers work the salmon by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons across the drop-off, while Lingcod respond to metal jigs, soft plastic swimbaits, and leadhead jigs fished down the rock. Pacific Halibut come to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics or salmon bellies along the deeper contours. Black Rockfish and Copper Rockfish hold over the same rock through the warmer months and take metal jigs and swimbaits worked near the bottom.
