Jensen Rock is an outer-exposed pinnacle off Tofino, British Columbia, rising over a rocky bottom through depths of 10 to 85 feet. The structure holds Chinook Salmon and Lingcod from May through August, Coho Salmon from June into October, and Pacific Halibut earlier in the season from March through June. Anglers troll anchovy, herring, and spoons through the water column for Chinook and Coho, while jigging with metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits works the rock for Lingcod and Black Rockfish. Halibut come to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics along the deeper bottom, with bait fishing using whole herring or squid as a supporting approach. Black Rockfish hold on the pinnacle through summer, peaking May to September and taking jigs and soft plastics.
