Jenny Reef is an exposed rock pinnacle off Ucluelet, British Columbia, rising through outer-coast water from around 95 feet up toward the surface. The structure holds Chinook Salmon from May through August and Coho Salmon from May into September, with both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons across the reef's shallower rises. Lingcod concentrate on the rock from March through May and respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked close to the pinnacle. Copper and Quillback Rockfish hold on the reef year-round, caught jigging with metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits or bottom fishing with herring and squid. Pacific Halibut move through from April into August and are worked with drift jigging using leadhead jigs and salmon belly along the deeper edges.
