About Site C -Fla. League Of Anglers Reef

Site C of the Florida League of Anglers Reef is an artificial reef off Fort Lauderdale in the Southeast Region of Florida's Atlantic state waters. Yellowtail Snapper peak from April through July and Mutton Snapper from March through June, while Gray Snapper peak in June and July and Common Snook in May through July. Chumming and drift fishing with glass minnows, cut ballyhoo, or squid strips draws Yellowtail Snapper up off the structure. Bottom fishing with live pilchards or cut bait targets Mutton and Gray Snapper holding tight to the reef. From January through March, King Mackerel move through, and slow trolling live goggle eyes or blue runners along the reef works them alongside resident Crevalle Jack.
