About Erojacks Dania Reef
Erojacks Dania Reef is an artificial reef in the Southeast Region of Florida's Atlantic state waters, off the coast near Miami. King Mackerel lead the winter season from November through March, while the warm months shift to Mutton Snapper (April through June) and Gray Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and Common Snook (all May through July). Kingfish anglers slow troll live goggle eyes, live blue runners, or live pilchards around the reef, and kite fishing with live threadfin herring works the same water. Over the structure itself, bottom fishing with live pilchards, cut bait, or squid targets Gray and Mutton Snapper, and chumming with frozen chum blocks and glass minnows pulls Yellowtail Snapper up off the reef. Crevalle Jack also patrol the reef alongside these species.
