About Philippe Park
Philippe Park is a rock outcrop fishing spot in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida's Gulf state waters, where hard structure draws a mix of inshore species throughout the year. Sheepshead lead the winter action from January through March, and Spotted Seatrout peak in March–April and again in October–November. Common Snook move in from April through June, Gray Snapper hold on the rocks from May through August, and Red Drum peak from August through October. Spanish Mackerel run in March–May and September–October. Around the rock, anglers target Sheepshead and Gray Snapper with bottom fishing using fiddler crabs and live shrimp, while Red Drum and Snook respond to live bait fishing with live pilchards and pinfish worked close to the structure.
