I’ve been using ReelCaster for about a month and I love it! Having all the conditions listed together is really handy and makes deciding when to go a no brainer instead of checking multiple apps and sites to get wind, current, sea conditions and tides. I highly recommend ReelCaster!

ReelCaster has completely changed how I plan my fishing trips. It brings together tides, currents, wind, swell, and water temperature in one place, then pinpoints the best times and locations to fish. It saves me time and gives me real confidence I’m on the water when conditions are ideal.

ReelCaster was very helpful in helping me figure out where and when to fish! I was lucky enough to catch a 7 lb Coho right off the beach. The info that the app provided was really helpful and it saved me the trouble of looking at multiple sources to figure out tides, weather, and regulations.

STRUCTURE

Mid

Beans Point Hump is a rocky pinnacle off Edmonds, Washington, in DFO subarea 10, rising from a bottom that runs 45 to 130 feet in mid-exposure water. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from March through June, and Lingcod, which peak from February through April, alongside resident Canary, Quillback, and Copper Rockfish and Pacific Cod. Anglers work the pinnacle for halibut with drift jigging using leadhead jigs with plastic swimbaits, metal jigs, or herring, and drop bottom baits like whole herring, squid, or octopus over the rock. Lingcod respond to jigging with metal jigs and swimbaits along the same structure, with live greenling or herring fished close to the bottom. Chinook Salmon move through from June to August and Coho from June to October, taken by trolling flashers with hootchies, spoons, or cut-plug herring, or by mooching cut-plug and whole herring near the hump.
