Orchard Rocks is a rocky pinnacle in Seattle's Marine Area 10, sitting at mid exposure with structure that rises through depths of 15 to 60 feet. The rock draws Pacific Halibut through their March-to-August peak and Lingcod that hold strongest in January and again from February into April, while Chinook Salmon move through from July to September and Coho from June to October. Black Rockfish stay active across most of the year, from January through November, holding tight to the pinnacle's broken rock. Anglers work the structure by jigging metal jigs and leadhead jigs with swimbaits for Lingcod, and drift jigging metal or leadhead jigs for halibut over the deeper edges. Salmon come to trolling with cut-plug herring, flashers, and trolling spoons through the passing runs above the rock.
