Point Glover is an outer-exposed drop-off in Seattle's DFO subarea 10, where a mixed bottom falls away through depths of 260 to 660 feet. Chinook Salmon peak here from July through September and Coho Salmon run from June through October, both taken by trolling flashers with hoochies, trolling spoons, or cut-plug herring, with mooching cut-plug and whole herring a supporting option. Lingcod hold along the structure with a January peak and a longer window from February through April, worked with metal jigs, leadhead jigs with swimbaits, and bucktail jigs, or with live greenling and herring over the rock. Pacific Halibut move through from March into August and respond to drift jigging with metal and leadhead jigs or bait fished on bottom with whole herring, octopus, and squid. Canary Rockfish, Copper Rockfish, and Pacific Cod round out the mixed-bottom catch across the deeper edges of the drop.
