I’ve been using ReelCaster for about a month and I love it! Having all the conditions listed together is really handy and makes deciding when to go a no brainer instead of checking multiple apps and sites to get wind, current, sea conditions and tides. I highly recommend ReelCaster!

ReelCaster has completely changed how I plan my fishing trips. It brings together tides, currents, wind, swell, and water temperature in one place, then pinpoints the best times and locations to fish. It saves me time and gives me real confidence I’m on the water when conditions are ideal.

ReelCaster was very helpful in helping me figure out where and when to fish! I was lucky enough to catch a 7 lb Coho right off the beach. The info that the app provided was really helpful and it saved me the trouble of looking at multiple sources to figure out tides, weather, and regulations.

STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Inner Protected

Norwegian Point Hump is a rocky pinnacle in the inner protected waters off Edmonds, Washington, within DFO subarea 9, rising through depths from the surface down to about 100 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon at their peak from June through August and Coho Salmon across a longer window from June into October, with both species taken by trolling flashers with hootchies, trolling spoons, or cut-plug herring over and around the rock. Lingcod hold tight to the pinnacle and fish best from February through April, when jigging metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs works the structure directly. Pacific Halibut move through from March into June and respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs and plastic swimbaits along the deeper edges. Canary Rockfish, Copper Rockfish, and Pacific Cod round out the bottom species relating to the rock throughout the water column.
