STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Crescent Rock is an exposed rocky pinnacle off Port Angeles, Washington, rising through outer waters that range from 40 to 120 feet deep. The structure holds Chinook Salmon at their peak from June through August and Coho Salmon from June through September, with both species taken by trolling flashers, hootchies, and trolling spoons across the pinnacle's edges. Lingcod concentrate on the rock from January through April and respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked close to the bottom. Pacific Halibut move through from March through August and are targeted by drift fishing herring, salmon bellies, and squid over the deeper flanks. Black Rockfish stack up along the rocky structure from May through August, where jigging with metal jigs and leadhead jigs dressed with soft plastics draws steady action.
