Striped Peak, also known as Angeles Point, is a rocky drop-off on the outer exposed shoreline west of Port Angeles, Washington, where the bottom falls away from roughly 40 to 200 feet. The structure holds aggregate rockfish, which stay catchable through the year with a broad peak spanning December to November. Jigging drives most of the action here, with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and swimbaits worked along the rock edges and down the face of the drop-off. Bait fishing with herring, squid, or shrimp covers the same structure at a slower pace, while mooching herring or leadhead jigs lets anglers track fish through the water column as the depth changes. The exposed setting and steep contour mean fish concentrate along the breaks between shallow rock and the deeper flats below.
