Don Armeni Boat Ramp Shoreline sits on the eastern edge of Elliott Bay in Seattle, Washington, within DFO subarea 10, offering shore and launch access to the open beach waters of central Puget Sound. The spot draws anglers targeting Coho Salmon, which peak from June through October, and Chinook Salmon, which run strongest from July through September. Trolling dominates here for both species, with cut-plug herring, whole herring, flashers with hoochies, and trolling spoons all working the water column as fish move through the bay. Mooching cut-plug or whole herring provides a slower, more controlled presentation, while jigging metal or leadhead jigs works well when fish hold tighter to structure. Watch the tide, as moving water concentrates bait and salmon along the shoreline drop-off.
