Edwards Point is a mixed-bottom drop-off in Seattle's Puget Sound waters within DFO subarea 10, where depths range from 260 to 660 feet along a mid-exposure edge. The structure draws Chinook Salmon through their July to September peak and Coho Salmon across a long June to October window, with both taken by trolling flashers with hoochies, trolling spoons, or cut-plug herring over the break. Pacific Halibut hold on the bottom here from March to August and respond to drift jigging with metal jigs or leadhead jigs tipped with plastic, while bottom bait fishing with whole herring, octopus, or squid works the same depths. Lingcod stack up on the rocky sections from February to April, best reached by jigging metal or bucktail jigs and leadhead jigs with swimbaits. Black Rockfish work the shallower reaches of the drop-off nearly year-round and take metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastics.
