Lincoln Park Point Williams Shoreline is a rock outcrop fishery along the Seattle waterfront in DFO subarea 10, where the shoreline structure holds fish tight to the rocks. Coho Salmon run strong from June through October and Chinook Salmon peak from July through September, both taken by trolling flashers with hoochies, trolling spoons, or cut-plug herring, with mooching cut-plug herring a reliable supporting approach. The rocky bottom sustains a year-round rockfish presence, including Black Rockfish through most of the year and a January-through-April window for Lingcod, all of which respond to jigging metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and swimbaits worked close to structure. Pacific Halibut move through from March into August and take drift-jigged metal jigs and leadhead jigs tipped with plastic, or whole herring fished on the bottom. Anglers working the outcrop can jig soft plastics and shrimp flies for the aggregate rockfish while timing salmon passes with the tide.
