Crow Islet is a rock drop-off off Campbell River, British Columbia, with mid-level exposure and depths running from 330 to 1,310 feet. Chinook Salmon peak from June through August and Coho Salmon from May into September, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, spoons, and hootchies along the structure. Lingcod hold on the rock through May and June and again from August into September, with jigging metal or leadhead jigs the primary approach and whole herring or octopus worked as bait over the same ground. Pacific Halibut move through from April to September, targeted by drift jigging leadheads, swimbaits, and metal jigs across the deeper edges. Quillback and Copper Rockfish, along with Pacific Cod, round out the resident fish on the bottom.
