Ripple Rock is a rock pinnacle off Campbell River, British Columbia, rising through mid-exposure water where depths run from 60 to 180 feet. The structure holds a strong groundfish population, with Lingcod peaking May–June and again August–September, and Pacific Halibut available across a long window from April through September. Anglers work the pinnacle for Lingcod with metal jigs, leadhead jigs paired with swimbaits, and bucktail jigs, or drop whole herring and octopus along the rock; Halibut respond to drift jigging with leadhead jigs, swimbaits, and metal jigs over the deeper edges. Salmon move through as well, with Chinook peaking June–August and Coho running May–September, both taken by trolling spoons, herring, and hootchies over the structure. Canary, Copper, and China Rockfish along with Pacific Cod round out the mixed bottom fishery here.
