Denman Point is an outer-exposed rocky drop-off near Comox, British Columbia, where the bottom falls away through depths of 260 to 660 feet. The structure draws Chinook Salmon at their peak from June through August and Coho Salmon across a long window from May through September, with both species targeted by trolling anchovy, herring, spoons, and hootchies over the edge. Lingcod hold to the rock through two peaks, January to March and May to September, and respond to metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked along the structure. Pacific Halibut move through the deeper water from March into July, where drift jigging with leadhead jigs and swimbaits or bottom bait fishing with whole herring and squid reaches fish on the bottom. The same rocky ground holds Copper Rockfish, Canary Rockfish, and Pacific Cod alongside the primary targets.
