STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Minx Rocks is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Kyuquot, British Columbia, with structure dropping from the surface down to 175 feet. The rock holds Lingcod, which peak from March through May and again from June through August, alongside Canary, China, and Copper Rockfish and Kelp Greenling across the same reef. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho follow from June to September, keeping the pinnacle productive through the summer. Lingcod respond to jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs worked over the rock, with bait fishing on whole herring, live greenling, or squid a supporting option. For the salmon, trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons covers the water column over the pinnacle, while mooching cut-plug or whole herring works the same edges.
