Sea Egg Rocks is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, rising through depths of roughly 40 to 120 feet. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, which peak from March through August, alongside Lingcod that peak January through March and Black Rockfish that peak April through September. Halibut respond to drift fishing with whole herring, salmon bellies, octopus, or large jigs across the deeper rock, while jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, or leadhead jigs works the pinnacle for Lingcod. Black Rockfish come to jigging with metal jigs and soft plastic swimbaits over the same broken terrain. Chinook Salmon move through from July to September and Coho from June to October, both taken by trolling spoons, hootchies, or bait behind a flasher over the exposed structure.
