Artillery Islets is a rocky outer-exposed drop-off off Sayward, British Columbia, where the bottom falls away from roughly 330 to 1,310 feet. Chinook Salmon peak from May through August and Coho Salmon from June through October, with both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons along the edge. Lingcod hold on the rock structure with peaks in February through April and again in August and September, responding to metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs worked close to the bottom. Pacific Halibut move through from April to August and come to drift jigging with leadhead and metal jigs over the deeper slopes. The steep contour and rock exposure also hold Darkblotched, Rougheye, and other rockfish alongside Pacific Cod.
