Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

Warn Bay Hump is a rocky pinnacle off Tofino, British Columbia, rising from a bottom that ranges roughly 80 to 425 feet in mid-exposure water. The structure draws Chinook Salmon and Lingcod through their May to August peaks, Coho Salmon from June into October, and Pacific Halibut earlier in the year from March through June. Trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, or spoons works the salmon over and around the pinnacle, while jigging metal jigs, soft plastic swimbaits, or leadhead jigs targets Lingcod holding tight to the rock. For halibut, drift jigging with leadhead jigs and soft plastics or metal jigs covers the deeper flats below the structure, and bait fishing the bottom with whole herring, salmon heads, or squid produces on the slack. Canary Rockfish, Pacific Cod, and Sablefish round out the mix over the same rocky terrain.
