STRUCTURE
Pinnacle
Outer Exposed

Armentières Rock is an outer-exposed pinnacle off Ucluelet, British Columbia, where rock structure rises through depths from the surface to about 130 feet. The pinnacle holds resident bottomfish year-round, with Copper and Quillback Rockfish present throughout the season and Lingcod peaking from March through May, all of which respond to jigging with metal jigs, leadhead jigs, and soft plastic swimbaits worked over the rock. China Rockfish, Kelp Greenling, Wolf Eel, and Pacific Cod share the same broken bottom. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho from May to September, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and spoons across the exposed water. Pacific Halibut hold along the deeper margins from April to August, where drift jigging with leadhead jigs, metal jigs, or salmon belly reaches fish near the base of the structure.
