Warner Rock is an exposed rocky pinnacle off Ucluelet, British Columbia, rising from depths that range from 10 to 160 feet in outer, open water. The structure holds Pacific Halibut, best from April through August, alongside Lingcod that peak March through May and Quillback Rockfish available year-round. Anglers work the deeper rock and rubble with drift jigging for halibut, using leadhead jigs with soft plastics or metal jigs, while jigging with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs takes lingcod and quillback along the pinnacle's edges. Chinook Salmon move through from May to August and Coho from May to September, both taken by trolling anchovy, herring, hootchies, and trolling spoons over the exposed structure. The mix of shallow rock and deep drop-offs concentrates fish across the water column, making bottom bait fishing with whole herring or salmon heads a reliable supporting approach for halibut.
