Distances are in a straight line, not by water.

Stillwater Cove Hump is an outer-exposed rocky pinnacle off Bodega Bay, rising through water that runs 35 to 155 feet deep. The structure holds Lingcod, which peak from July through February, alongside aggregate Rockfish that peak May through October and Pacific Halibut through the April-to-September window. Chinook Salmon move through from April to August and Coho from June to November, with Cabezon, California Sheephead, and Blue Shark rounding out the catch. Anglers work the rock with metal jigs, swimbaits, and leadhead jigs for Lingcod, while bait fishing with squid, shrimp flies, or live anchovies takes Rockfish along the pinnacle's edges. Salmon are targeted higher in the column by trolling anchovies, spoons, hoochies, and flashers over the exposed structure.
