About Millville Waterfront Park Pier

Millville Waterfront Park Pier is a public fishing pier on the Panama City waterfront in Florida's Panhandle, giving anglers direct access to inshore bay water. Sheepshead lead the winter season from January through March, when bottom fishing around the pier pilings with fiddler crabs, live shrimp, sand fleas, or oysters produces steady action. Spanish mackerel run from March through October, and casting metal jigs, gotcha plugs, or small spoons from the pier deck reaches feeding schools. Spotted seatrout peak March through May and again in November, responding to soft plastic jerkbaits, paddle tail grubs on jigheads, and live shrimp under a popping cork. Gray snapper hold around the pier structure from May through August, and red drum arrive in force from August through October, while common snook round out the pier's inshore lineup.
