About NRDA 2-A Reef
NRDA 2-A Reef is an artificial reef off Panama City, Florida, in the Panhandle Region of Florida's Gulf state waters. The site sits at 30.0875, -85.9042 among the network of deployed structures that dot the nearshore Gulf bottom off Bay County. Like other artificial reefs in the region, it adds hard, vertical relief to an otherwise open seafloor, giving baitfish and reef-associated fish a fixed point to hold around. Its position inside state waters keeps it within reach of boats running out of the Panama City area. Anglers who mark the coordinates and work the structure itself find the reef's footprint concentrated over a small area, so precise positioning on the numbers pays off.
