About Unnamed Reef
This artificial reef sits in Florida's Gulf state waters off Pensacola, within the Panhandle Region. Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel hold over the structure from April through October, Cobia push through from March to June, and Gray Snapper peak from May to August. Gag Grouper take over from October to December, and Sheepshead carry the action from January through March. Bottom fishing with live pinfish or squid targets grouper and snapper tight to the reef, while fiddler crabs and sand fleas draw Sheepshead off the same structure. Above the reef, anglers troll small spoons and straw rigs for Spanish Mackerel and slow troll live cigar minnows or live blue runners for King Mackerel.
